Not my best effort, I'll admit. But I did make some changes, which included a whole lot of exercise, which I loved, and feeling hunger much more than I'm used to. And also I stopped beating myself up when I made a bad choice. Each moment is new and a chance to make a good choice.

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

No gain, or loss. I am happy with that, better luck next week.

This was a terrible week emotionally and I usually eat when I'm stressed out. I did eat a little too much but I still lost weight.

Accountability to Tales From The Scales has helped me this week, logging on to your website and seeing all the others that are trying too! Lost 4 lbs since Fri am and am very happy.

Well, this was a good week. Four pounds!!! It is a miracle!!! I do like the articles and helps you have posted along the way. Thanks. :)

1 1/2 lbs for me. It's a start!

Yeah! I did not think I would do this well, but I confess it made a bit of a difference knowing someone else was going to be seeing the numbers....LOL

My first week will be complete on Wednesday. My weight this morning was down 2.5 pounds.A slow start, but the scale is moving down.. not up.
I am headed out to Curves .See you next week .
Baba

Starting Wt. ...147.5
today's wt. 145

I need to write my personal story , after exercise.

Not too good this week in the pounds department for me. But, I lost inches, so I know my work paid off.

An "OK" week. The accountability has been good!

-2 pounds - not much farther now!!!!

Not a bad first week - at least for me. I get discouraged sometimes because I have a husband and other friends on diets that allow them to drop 5+ pounds a week and while I want those kinds of results, I think the plan I am on is better for me. I managed to survive the week emotionally and still lose 2 pounds. Personally that is a win for me!

I was so excited when I got on the scales this morning and had lost 3 pounds! My goal is to lose 30, but I'm going to take it slow. I want permanent changes and that doesn't happen quick.

I have enjoyed reading the encouraging articles. Thank you so much for this!

Ok I had a totally AWESOME week! The accountability here has helped plus I started Weight Watchers again and started working out at Curves again! So here are my results after the first week :-)

Starting weight 292
Today's Weight 282.5

I lost 9.5 lbs! Doing the Happy Dance :-)

And I just wanted to say good job to all the other ladies out there!

The accountability has been a really good thing for me too. I lost three pounds this week using careful portion control and careful food choices, even over Mother's Day. :-) This week I want to add in more exercise as I kind of slacked on that last week.

I'm down by 1.5 lbs...which is normal for me. I have had a steady 2lbs a week lost in the past 2 months.

This week seemed great. I lost 4 lbs and feel like what I did this week in terms of eating and excercise is manageable. The accountability really helped me. Thanks.

Good job, everyone! I'm down 8 this week. It was really hard, but worth it.

-1.8 for me.

Yahooo!!!!!!! I'm back, baby.

Yahooo!!!!!!! I'm back, baby.

Tishia - you rock!

Well, like many, I've got a perfectly static weight, but I exercised differently this week, which helped me to actually feel some real effect! Next week, I can't wait to post a loss.

I lost 1.8lbs this week. I am happy with that. This is my third week and I have lost 10 lbs in three weeks!!
Good job everyone it is exciting to see everyones successes!!! Keep it up.

Good work and good luck everyone!
