Five Weeks

Many of you have been participating in this challenge for five weeks now.  Have you created healthier habits?

Had family visiting for 10 days. Gained 2 pounds from eating high point items, but was able to keep portions under control. Ready to jump back on the wagon! :)

I simply maintained.

I lost one pound, woo hoo!!

I snack less, and drink more water. Lost 3 pounds!

I lost 2.5 lbs this week! (I had gained 1.5 lbs the week prior but at least I took it off plus one more.)

I have lost a total of 7.5 lbs since the challenge started. YAY!

Snacking less, cutting out most sugars and drinking more water.

I've (finally) lost five pounds. Can I get the code for the button?

Boy do I need to get back on track. :-( Starting NOW!!!!!

I lost 1.5lbs this week. I have FINALLY reached that 5 pound loss. How do I get my button?

I didn't do as well as I wanted to this week...I hope to "diet" more this week! Now I need to play catch up...lose 3.6 lbs.!

Not weighing in this week. So happy with the way my clothes feel and also with my level of daily activity! I have fudged a lot on diet, I will need to do better. ((Hugs))

Am down another pound so about 1 more pound to go and I will have lost my first five pounds! Can't wait (or is that weight) to reach that milestone. Congrats everyone who lost!

Finally I am back on track with a loss of a pound. I am a teacher on summer break so I have been able to be moving a lot more and drinking the water, but find sometimes that it is easy to get into the cupboard and start snacking despite not being "hungry". I determined to keep going though...2 more pounds and I will have lost 20 pounds and be halfway to my goal weight!! Congrats to all the losers and a "You can do it" shout out to everybody who had a bad week!!

I think a couple of things are in my favor: some better portion control and lots of water/hot lemon water. Goal for next week: decrease sugar consumption. Thanks for the accountability!

While I was definitely more active at the beach (had to be - chasing after three kiddos), I totally blew it in the eating department. That said, I refrained from weighing today...didn't think I could take the discouragement. But, I am not giving up!! Onward and upward!! (or should I say downward???)

Lost 2 lbs. which means I've lost 5 since I started this! Yeah! It's been slow going, but hopefully this will be more motivation to keep going. :-)

I lost the 3 lbs that I gained last week! So that makes me feel better! My grand total is 20 lbs lost since the challenge started!

Way to go with all the loses....it is awesome to be doing this together. If you are struggling....allow yourself the grace to make some mistakes...then shout STOP IT to the things that are tempting you and pick back up and start again!!

Yahoo! I hit the -5 lb mark. Can I get the code for "the badge of honor?"

I gained 1 lb, but last week I kind of got lazy. I have to get back into this week!

It was a good week! I'm just .8 lbs away from getting one of those pretty stars -- hopefully next week! :)

I am probably cheating because I couldn't weigh in last week while on vacation, but I only lost one pound that week. I was thrilled that I didn't gain, what with the pizza and subs and ice cream that we had. But this week I was down an addition 7.8 lbs, so 8.8 in all. From 272 to 225!

I'm new to this, but I have been keeping track of my weight loss for a time now. Today I'm back to 270.. a place I've been before but had gone back up to 274. *ugh*
