This is the scariest mini-goal I have ever posted anywhere. But, I must do this. I am going to give up sugar.
There are many reasons to do this, but the main one is simply my health. Sugar and I do not go well together, and at the beginning of the challenge I had given it up. However, since then, I had started eating it again. It just does me no good, and that is that.
So, that is my goal this week. Fresh fruit, here I come! LOL

I at now at my lowest weight in three years! Go me!
I've lost and successfully kept down 7 pounds and it shows no signs of stopping. It is incredibly gratifying to see the small changes in my life have such large knock-on effects.
Still a bit far from my pledged goal of losing 35 pounds, but I will take anything that I can get!

Wooo hoooo! I finally reached the 5 lb. milestone. I'm so excited! :)

Exercise for 20 minutes everyday. And also keep feeling positive and yay! about the fact I'm now at 7lb lost

Struggling...BAD! I would have to say that my mini goal for this week, is not to give up! To keep pressing on!! This is the most difficulty I have had loosing weight in quite some time. But I know I can do it, I just gotta keep at it!

This week has been good. I haven't dropped as much weight as in past weeks, but I am starting to realize a pattern that shows that the more I lose, the slower I lose it, and that's ok. Steady as she goes.

Down 2.0 lbs for a total of 12 in the challenge and almost 20 since I started. Even though I'm starting to see results on the scales, I'm really struggling with feeling positive about the entire process.

Congrats to all the "losers" this week. Unfortunately I am not one of them. I gained a pound since my last weigh in and am totally disgusted at my lack of willpower and motivation. *UGH*

week: -1
total: -10
my mini goal is to reach the point where I have lost 5% of my previous body weight. I am three pounds away from this. I'm sure I'll not achieve it in one week, but it is a target to aim for.

Down 2.5....I think I'm finally "recovering" from the glut of vacation and many cook outs.... Keep up the great work everyone!

I fell off the wagon with all the yummy food on July fourth and just got back on yesterday, but all the working out I was doing must have paid off. I'm actually down a pound, so total of four pounds lost! Yippee! I'm motivated to keep going.

I'm down 2 pounds which surprises me since there is an amazing amount of turmoil going on in our family right now and I can be a stress eater. My daughter is leaving at the end of the week to go back to Indiana after visiting with me for 7 months and things are going to be really rocky for her and her boyfriend as both their dads are having some serious health issues, and one of them is terminal. Worrying about them and missing her...my mini goal is not to fall too far off the wagon, and to pray rather than snack when I shouldn't.

I just started yesterday, I am late but I'm also aiming for -27 lbs. by Sept.18. This week my routine should be workout with my ball at 5:30am but that is so difficult to do because I'm baby sitting 2 kids & they are at my house by 6 and sometimes earlier so I will try to do the evenings and see how that goes. Just tea for me with no sugar on weekdays, I'll save my coffee for Sundays. I am also watching what I eat, dieting is not working for me because I felt deprived & eventually came back eating more, so what I do is I just take anything in small portions, drink lots of water, eat more vegetables & fruits, and exercise more. One very important thing though is I should STOP eating the kids left over, ugh! And, how do I avoid eating what I am not supposed to eat or do not want to eat, I DO NOT HAVE THEM AROUND THE HOUSE.

I am thrilled that I lost 4 lbs. I will say it's the 4 I gained back during the last few weeks of the challange. My goals (as stated on the blog) are to keep up the water drinking & up the workouts to 5x this week. I know not to expect to lose that much next week (I credit a cold and the lots of water needed to keep my throat from hurting)...I'm working to lose one more. I REALLY want one of those stars I see on the sidebar!

Well, I went down by about 4 lbs... how? Stress! I am in the middle of selling my condo and I'm cleaning like a mad woman and I'm stressed as all heck! Anyway, I highly suggest stress for weight loss! LOL (It always works for me!)

Hope everyone is doing well this week. No time to check up on everyone since I'm still in England and having way too much fun. ;-)

It's so great to see how well everyone is doing. I'd love to join the crowd, as it were, but I'm just the same. That's okay, though. It's NOT up! My goal now is to work in more exercise. I've been doing some, but it's not enough. Need to shake things up a bit. :D

I just stumbled on this site yesterday and I'm really hoping this will be the boost I'm needing. Keep up the good work, those of you who've been at this for a while, and best wishes to all of us!!
