It's not going well. I'm up 3.5 lbs. I now offically weigh more than I did when we started the challenge.

I found out how much I really and truly weigh and it's horribly shocking. But I have lost 3lb since then. Which makes me :). Keep going Ladies!

Not sure if it's motivation or just the realization that I HAVE GOT to get this weight off. The important thing is to keep at it!

It's for my health. That has always been the motivation. And now that the 130's are within reach, there is added motivation to get myself UNDER 140 lbs. Plus, I like how I feel now that some I've lost a little. I don't want to gain it back.

since last time I checked in: +1
overall: -9
Vacation interrupted the challenge, but not my good habits. Check that out: I have good habits. Woo!
Hope you all are learning and applying good habits too.

I missed last week's weigh-in because I was on vacation. I'm down 3.8 from two weeks ago, for a total of 10 lbs down since the start of the challenge.

I am noticing that there are a lot of people who have either not gained or lost this week, that's good to see.

The fact that people tell me I am looking good, and some guy told my husband at work that there was a rumor going around that I was HOT! It keeps me motivated. When you get compliments it makes you feel good about yourself and I am not too great on doing that for myself so it is working. I am excited to be getting rid of all my baby fat(baby is 2 now), and just knowing that I am being healthy and setting a good example for my kids, these are the things that motivate me.

My goals for weight loss center more around my health. I have PCOS, which makes weight loss more difficult if it isn't treated. Also, one of "bonuses" of having PCOS is infertility.
Right now my motivation is that everyone around me is pregnant! My husband turns 40 next year (he says no more babies after that.) And I want to be healthy for the two children we already have.
I switched from the meds my doc prescribed to herbs (with her approval) and they only work when I remember to take them! So, my goal for this week is to take my herbs every day at the appointed time, and to stick to my modified South Beach eating plan.
One week at a time....

The people who come here and check in are my motivation! :-) This is a bad week, but I know those come and go. I've still got my eyes on my end goal. It will happen if I keep at it and continue to make good choices.

Vacation eating. Need I say more?

I'm glad I bought new summer shorts before vacation...(or the eating that's been going along with it)--now my motivation is to be able to wear said shorts out in public once more!

I'm really struggling, having gained back all I lost (which wasn't that much). But I refuse to give up, I'm NOT happy with where I am right now, how I look, how uncomfortable I feel and how out of shape I am. I wasn't doing well on my own, so I joined WW this weekend. I'm hoping the keeping track of EVERY bite will make a difference.

Back on track the last two weeks...have lost another 5 lbs to bring my total to -15!!! As my 2 year old daughter would say, "I'm so essighted!"

Up 2 pounds. Boo. In my defense, it was my sister's bachelorette party this weekend which I had to fly across the country for, so there wasn't much access to decent food on the plane and there was much drinking & eating at the bachelorette.
Next week, I will do better!

I've lost and managed to keep down 6 pounds since we started! Yay me! I've been tracking my weight on a spreadsheet as well, and despite all the ups and downs the general trend is down.
My trousers are definetely getting looser around the middle and I suspect that 1 more pound and I can start investigting a smaller size. I've also started working through the Beck Diet Solution book and I find that it is a great motivator.
