Good-bye old challenge - Hello New Challenge! CONGRATULATIONS to so many of you that continued through the entire challenge, I am so proud of you! How did your final weigh-in go?

for you during the previous challenge and what things you need to work
on. Tell us about your experience, your triumphs, your challenges, etc.
IF YOU ARE NEW TO THE CHALLENGE - sign Mr. Linky, linking back to a post on your blog about your weight loss goal, aspirations, challenges, goals, dreams, frustrations. Your Story. We want to hear it.

My entry is up but I think I will probably write more later. I shared some photos of a wedding I went to at the weekend but now I've read the suggestions here I want to write about those too. First, however, I must find some lunch.

I haven't been here in a few weeks because, to be honest, I knew I wasn't doing very well.
I did lose 2 pounds. I'm sure I'll find them tomorrow. :)

My loss for the last week of the Challenge was pretty small, but this week especially I'm just glad to show a loss at all, and I continue to be grateful for my overall loss the last year and a half.
To celebrate the end of this challenge and beginning of the next, I posted before and after photos.

Well well well, time for a challenge. I've technically been losing weight since the beginning of this year, though in actuality not so much. I moved from the England to Japan a month a go and the weight I've lost has definitely hit a wall. I'm hoping this will help me start losing again instead of floundering at my current weight for another 4 months, so that I can look back on this year and say 'this was the year I changed it all'. Looking hot for my New Year trip to Bangkok wouldn't hurt either.

A couple of posts I wrote last week are the top two on my blog. I think I'm down a couple of pounds from last week. I started at 180lbs and need to lose about 40 (but I'll be happy with 30 :))

My goal for this new challenge is to lose another 20 pounds (which is still a fraction of the total weight I need to take off, but the rest of the weight will have to wait -- har har -- for the next challenge after that).

My goal is to lose 32 lbs by challenge end. That's roughly 2 lbs per week. Nothing crash or flashy.

Ok, after thinking about it and reading a post over at Valley Girl, I'm in......
We leave for vacation next Wednesday, so I'll miss a week of checking in, but I'm hoping to stick this out for the long haul!

Lost a total of 8 pounds with the May Day challenge. Not mind-boggling, but it's a steady 2 pound a month loss. I hope to increase activity and have less treats during this challenge and lose the rest of my 46 pounds to the goal weight. I really enjoyed the accountability and encouragement of others.

I'm ready to go...I will update my last week post to meet the requirements as far as stating my goal and such although I do post it every week. I am thinking of trying to put a few more recipes or healthy tips on the site regularly so come on by to check in. Good luck everybody!!!!

Hey there. I'm new here too. I just stumbled onto this website recently. I believe it is a clear sign to do something about my weight! :)
I lost 50 some pounds over a year ago, but I have gained back at least twenty of that. :( So, I am ready to get started on a challenge. It helps to have some encouragement and goals, and of course, the accountability. I have to buy a scale, but I believe I weigh around 240. I am 5'7", and should be around 150 or so, so I REALLY need to get busy losing this weight.
A buddy to keep me accountable would be great!
