I have been able to avoid the Halloween candy. It's not on my plan at all (no sugar)so it's not a matter of counting the points or anything and having to try to stop myself. I don't event start.

I made caramel corn last night for hallo ween treats. So far I have been hanging tough with the treats and have not touched them. I may let myself have two protein bars today instead of one. Or not.

I skipped the last 2 weigh ins because there was just no change (I know, I know...I should weigh in/post anyway for the accountability :-)).
Now I've started a weight loss challenge with some family and friends locally as well and have re-doubled my workouts and tracking my foods and voila! -5lbs this week. Finally, the scale MOOOOOOVES!

Those kids better come and get this candy tonight or I'm knocking on their doors tomorrow!! It needs to go, LOL
Down 1 pound :-) I'll take it!

Down 1.8....I was really hoping to be down 2.2 this week because that would have brought me to the 10% goal that they set for you when you start WW...but no luck. I'll still take the loss. But I did find something interesting about Motrin and Advil that affects weight loss. I don't want to outline it all here, so hopefully I'm not violating the terms of service when I tell you to come over and read it at my website. It may be the reason that I missed the goal by .4

Holidays...I am not always thrilled about the holiday season...I am not a Scrooge, but my family lives 900-1100 miles away, so holidays just depress me (if the truth be known). When I am depressed I eat too little instead of too much.
Halloween, on the other hand, is no problem since we don't celebrate Halloween.
I am happy to say however, that I am meeting my goals. I have lost 2 pounds each week that I have been eating less, so I am up to seven pounds lost (total).
And to everyone who reads this...Keep pressing on! I am behind you 100% (even though I haven't had much time to comment lately).

Last week I had gained 3 pounds to 158. This Monday I was down 5 poundsto 153. I watched it some but also a couple days with a rumbling tummy. So happy to see 153 that I want to be extra careful to see it or less for next week. The pumpkin bread I made yesterday is soundly resting on the dryer (out of site, out of mind, out of mouth)

week: -2
total: -5.5
I didn't buy the Halloween candy till I went grocery shopping on Monday. We weren't home to sneak at it yesterday, so now the little ghouls just have to come get it.
As for the big holidays around the corner: the toughest part is traveling to visit our families, and then controlling our appetites once we're there.

I wouldn't exactly say "Accidentally" Hitting it. Hubby and 5 year old have been sabotaging me. Cookies and cakes and such...oye!
But alas, I still shed off 2 1/2 pounds this week...So take that sweets!!!!

My scale is SOOOO hard to read. I really need to get a digital.
I "think" I lost 1 lb... its hard to tell where the line is pointing.

Nope, no halloween candy for this girl! Stayed away from it at the office party and it pretty much assures me that its ok to not eat those things when everyone else. I think I will be able to make it through the holidays!

I didn't gain or lose anything this week. *sigh* :-(

I forgot to report in last week. Last week I lost one pound. I had gained .5 the week before, so I suppose I lost .5 pounds really. This week I lost 3.5 pounds. My total so far? I have lost 8.5 pounds! This is huge for me!

aww, i'm so jealous y'all got to celebrate halloween american style. but i guess i haven't been tempted by candy. for me, it's an "out of sight, out of mind" thing since i don't really like sweets all that much.
it'll be tough to report regularly because the scale at my work is kaputt and i don't know where else to find another. i will continue to update on what life is like here for me, though, weight-wise

Up almost half a pound. I'm not surprised though. I haven't been eating as well and my prior two weeks of losing almost 4 pounds total seemed awful high to me. I knew I was going to level out at some point.

Weighing in late.....and for a reason. I'm stll sitting pretty at 172 pounds people. I need to get my act together, and quick.

I'm late because we were out of town having too much fun! :-) I'm up just a tad, but since it's been that TOM, I'm OK with that. Still hanging in there in ONEDERLAND, which was one of my main goals.

Down 2lbs this week! Broke 180lbs. Down to 179lbs, barely. Goal for next week 4lbs, 175lbs. Work out 3 times with two times being an extra good go gett'em work out!!

No change, but i'm not discouraged. i'm in this for the long haul. They... whoever "they" are... say it takes 30 days to form a new habit. Well, my new habit is no grazing... one planned snack. So far - so good. Stay the course!

I've been hitting the halloween candy this week, but today, no more! I've also been walking this week! :)
I'm so grateful for this challenge to keep me in line and keep me motivated!

I took the candy to work...but I have been in it there some. This is my first week checking this site out and posting weight loss. I have about 80+ lbs to lose.

First time commenter--but I had to brag. I weighed in on Halloween to find I was down 1.4 pounds for a total loss of 15.6 pounds since August 29, when I joined Weight Watchers.
And there is still too much Halloween candy at my house!!! But I've only eaten a little.
